Hi, I'm Candida

A people focused UX designer with a speciality in qualitative user research

It's good to make pretty things but it's even better to make pretty things that enrich the lives of others. Over the last decade that's exactly what I have strived to do. From Ed Tech to Healthcare I've helped create experiences that make the world a more inclusive and navigable place.

"Navigating is much easier. Quicker to find lesson synthesis, quicker to switch between lessons and units. I think I could get more done in one tab instead of needing multiple tabs open." - IM Educator

About

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Headshot_edited_edited.png

I'm a designer on a mission to make good things through collaboration with others.

I've been in UX since 2013 and during that time I've worked with clients across several different industries. No matter the project, two things always hold true: design is better through collaboration and user research is the difference between fine and great. For this reason, research is an integral part of my design process.

When I'm not busy digging into the UX of things, you can find me digging into music or the dirt with my kiddo. I have a few soap boxes that I like to stand on, to hear about those - shoot me a message!

Some of the tools I use to...

I believe...

CURIOSITY
creates meaningful design

Asking questions and understanding context is fundamental to the design process. It's why I have focused on user research over my career. In my masters program, I explored how design can be used as a tool for tolerance.
